Welcome to the Bristol Classical Guitar Society. Our mission is to promote and extend the profile of the classical guitar in the south west and to bring together players, makers, composers and enthusiasts of all levels. Our meetings include solo and ensemble practice and performance, seminars and masterclasses; our Concert Series presents internationally acclaimed performers. We would be delighted to have you at any of our meetings and events. We meet on the second Thursday of the month at 7:30 pm. New premises - the Unitarian Meeting Hall, Brunswick Square, BS2 8PE.
A guitar duo concert at the Princess Theatre, Burnham-on-Sea on Saturday 11th February commencing at 7.30 p.m. Music includes Boccherini, Piazzolla, Granados, Diego Pujol, Schubert. Contact number for the Theatre box office is 01278 784464.

Tickets will be available in February from the Bristol Spanish Guitar Centre (0117 9420479) BY CASH ONLY. Card payments will no longer be accepted at the Centre for ticket sales. If this is not convenient, you can also purchase tickets from us online. Tickets bought online will not be posted, they will be available inside the door before the performance.

Giacomo Susani was born in 1995, in Padua, Italy. He started playing guitar at age 7 and eventually studied under the direction of Stefano Grondona at the Conservatorio Arrigo Pedrollo in Vicenza where he graduated with the highest marks and honours in 2013.
He is currently continuing his studies at the Royal Academy of Music in London, under Michael Lewin, where he has completed his Bachelor of Music, gaining First Class Honours and the discretionary Bache Fund Prize, and is now studying for his Master’s degree. On his entrance to the Academy, after an audition with Julian Bream, he was awarded the prestigious Julian Bream Trust Scholarship.Read more
