
Our mission is to promote and extend the profile of the classical guitar in the South West and to bring together players, makers, composers and enthusiasts of all levels.
Our meetings include solo and ensemble practice and performance, seminars and masterclasses; our Concert Series presents internationally acclaimed performers. We would be delighted to have you at any of our meetings and events. We meet on the second Thursday of the month from 7:15pm at the Unitarian Meeting Hall, Brunswick Square, BS2 8PE (hall opens 7pm). Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

We’re proud to present a very exciting 2025 line-up! In addition to the usual monthly meetup format, where we have solo and ensemble sessions, we’ll have:
- 4 talks by members with topics like “Software tools for ensemble practice“
- 3 Visiting Artist short concerts and lectures during meetups: Sam Brown, the Mosaic Guitar Ensemble, Steve Toon
- 4 recitals by IGF Young Artists 2025 (Wales Guitar Duo, Luke Tyrell, Duo Cantelina and the Fika Duo)
